Our Story

Hi, I'm Liz. I built LizPlants because I bought way too many seed packets one spring and couldn't keep track of when to plant what.

Every packet had its own instructions (start indoors six weeks before the last frost, direct sow once the soil warms up) and none of them knew where I lived. LizPlants reads those packets for me, works out my local frost dates, and turns everything into one calendar I can actually follow.

This isn't made by a big company. LizPlants is built and maintained by one person, and it's a real tool I use in my own garden. I hope it helps in yours, too!

A lot of what's here started as an idea from another gardener. If you have one, or something isn't working the way you'd expect, get in touch. I read every message.
